Public sector entities rely on Nick’s comprehensive understanding of Ohio’s Sunshine Laws, the Open Meetings Act, economic development, municipal home rule, real estate, zoning compliance, eminent domain, and annexation to navigate an ever-changing regulatory landscape, safeguard their interests, and foster growth within their communities. His practical, hands-on approach ensures clients receive sound legal guidance tailored to both immediate needs and long-term objectives.

In addition to his public sector work, Nick is a trusted advisor to a diverse array of private sector clients in a multitude of industries. Nick’s notable experience counseling on labor and employment includes drafting employee handbooks and policies tailored to his clients’ unique workforce needs, navigating federal, state, and local wage and hour laws nationwide, structuring complex executive employment and compensation agreements, drafting and enforcing restrictive covenant agreements, countless grievances and arbitrations defending management rights, and a shelf of collective bargaining agreements tirelessly negotiated at the bargaining table. Though dispute resolution and risk mitigation are his primary focus, Nick is no stranger to a courtroom. He’s successfully advanced his clients’ interests in state and federal courts, as well as before the Ohio Department of Commerce, OSHA, the Department of Labor, the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Clients further rely on Nick’s considerable expertise navigating real estate transactions that stems from his years conducting real property title examinations prior to law school. His strategic counsel when structuring complex property transactions, development projects, or commercial agreements best positions clients for success.

Nick proudly serves on several local nonprofit boards, including Community First Solutions, the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, the Fitton Center for Creative Arts, Cincy SHRM, and Cincy Reigns, the NIL Collective for the University of Cincinnati. Outside of work, Nick is a devoted spouse and parent to four young children. He brings the same dedication and energy to his clients as he does to his family and community.
